This series began because my husband could no longer drive. The view changed when I moved from passenger seat to driver's seat. I’ve observed in my travels that people have a penchant for yard art, God and Jesus. They have become everyday fixtures on the American landscape.
Most of the images are my observations of the Southern American landscape, where it appears, religion is a priority.
This series is ongoing. Laurie Kratochvil, formerly of Rolling Stone Magazine, Benjamin Krause of Krause Gallery in Atlanta and Alan K. Avery of Alan K. Avery Art Company have chosen work from this series for shows at the Atlanta Photography Group in 2006-08.
